More than one in three of us will develop cancer at some point in our lives and one in four die from the disease. Cancer Research UK is funding research into all aspects of cancer, ranging from understanding the causes and biology of the disease through to developing new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it. We are also investigating ways to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and support their families.
